Once you've earned your CCIE certification, it's important to stay current with the latest technologies and maintain your certification through the recertification process. However, if you're unable to meet the recertification requirements by your expiration date, Cisco does offer a recertification grace period.
The CCIE recertification grace period allows you an additional 12 months after your certification expiration date to complete the recertification process. During this time, you'll need to complete the required Continuing Education credits or pass a CCIE written or lab exam to recertify.
It's important to note that while the grace period provides additional time to complete the recertification process, your certification status will be suspended during this time. This means that you won't be able to use your CCIE certification logo or identify yourself as a CCIE until you've completed the recertification process.
